Wonderworks at DestinyUSA is your all-in-one entertainment experience with more than 100 hands-on exhibits. When you enter Wonderworks, everything appears upside down, until you go through an “inversion tunnel” that properly aligns you to the flipped building so that you can experience the fun! Within Wonderworks, patrons of all different ages can experience a variety of fun and attractions including Canyon Climb Adventure, Lazer Tag, a 4D theater and a variety of other attractions.

Canyon Climb Adventure:
Canyon Climb Adventure Ropes Challenge is the World’s Largest Suspended Indoor Ropes Course. With 3 levels of ropes and over 81 different obstacles while standing 70 feet tall, this attraction will make sure to get your adrenaline pumping! The adventure is appropriate for all ages and safety is guaranteed. Some of the awesome aspects of Canyon Climb Adventure include lilypads, a tremor bridge and swinging steps! Though the cost of Canyon Climb Adventure is not included in your Wonderworks pass, it is worth the small expense!

Lazer Tag
The Lazer Tag in Wonderworks at DestinyUSA provides a thrilling and competitive experience for all patrons! This lazer tag experience takes place in a black-lit maze. Here patrons are put head to head with one another, where they have to outlast other players by avoiding getting shot. This experience is both fun and exhilarating.

To get involved in the Lazer Tag at Wonderworks, patrons must pay an additional fee when entering the Wonderworks attraction.

Other Attractions
Aside from the inversion tunnel when you first enter, Wonderworks offers a variety of other attractions that keeps patrons in awe. In the Hurrican Shack, patrons feel as though they are in a real storm with winds up to 85 miles per hour winds. Wonderworks also has a 4D Theater. This motion stimulated 12-seat XD theater will take you on the ride of your life. The theater features three movies on a rotating schedule. The Anti-Gravity Chamber makes water change directions as it moves from the floor to the ceiling, which patrons notice with the flash of a strobe light. Also in Wonderworks are computers and monitors that encompass 25 feet and display images of famous natural disasters. The Xtreme 360 Bikes allow patrons to perform tricks and flips that they would never imagine possible. In the Space Zone, patrons can travel outer space. Also available at Wonderworks is an illusion gallery, mind ball, a bubble lab, wonder coasters, wonder park, a bed of nails, virtual air hockey and a masterpiece floor piano!

Revolutions Entertainment in DestinyUSA is the only place in Syracuse where you can eat, drink, rock and bowl. Revolutions Live offers patrons the best bowling experience with modern lanes, projection HDTV’s, black lights and bumper options. The lanes at Revolutions Entertainment can be used by casual bowlers, private bowlers, league bowlers and even late-night bowlers!

Aside from bowling, Revolutions Entertainment offers an array of other experiences in DestinyUSA. AppeThaizing

Is a delicious Thai restaurant located on South Crouse Avenue, located across from CVS and down the block from Marshall Street. AppeThaizing offers a catering service that has become increasingly  popular. Their food is also available to order through grubhub.com, if you can’t make it to the restaurant. The entrees and appetizers are decently priced as well.

Menu

AppeThaizing, has a  wide range of delicious entrees such as noodles, sautéed dishes with chicken, beef, vegetables, and shrimp, as well as curry dishes.

For appetizers, they offer shrimp, chicken satay, priced around $6.29, appeThaizing Rolls, priced around $5.99, appeThaizing Veggie Rolls, priced around $5.79, and tofu.

Their soup features Tom Yum, priced around $3.99-$4.79, a famous Thai lemongrass soup.

Along with their most popular entrée, Pad Thai, priced around $10.99-$12.99, there are also other noodle entrees to choose from like Pad Kee Mow, priced around $10.99-$12.99. This is a spicy dish, made from flat rice noodle, and is sautéed with egg, chili, broccoli, Asian greens, tomatoes, and basil. All of the soups and noodles come along with your choice of shrimp, chicken, tofu, and beef (beef comes with the noodle entrees only).

They also offer fish and salads. For drinks they serve a wide array of wines and beers along with other typical beverages.

Atmosphere

The service is quick and friendly, and it is a popular spot for both lunch and dinner. It is located right on campus, and the staff is always friendly. The dining resembles  a cafeteria setting, except it is very well kept, and more casual than fancy.

AppeThaizing is open Mondays through Fridays from 11:00AM-9:00PM. Lunch hours are from 11:00AM -4:00PM, and dinner hours are from 4:00PM-9:00pm. On Saturdays, the restaurant is closed for lunch, but is open for dinner from 4:00PM-9:00PM. AppeThaizing is closed on Sundays. It’s located at Campus Plaza, 727 S. Menu
Metro Lounge and Sushi Bar offers two separate menus. One menu is for dining and the other menu specializes in parties and catered events. Their dining menu offers a variety of sushi and Pan-Asian items. Sushi rolls cost anywhere from $6 to $10 per roll and entrees vary from $9 to $17. If one isn’t in the mood for a whole meal, appetizers such as wings are available to order.

Metro also has a wide variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Although they have no beer on tap, they do have an array imported beer options available, such as Heineken, Stella and Sapporo. The lounge also has many other drinks selections to choose from.

Their private parties menu allows their customers to request and choose the type of entrees that would best suit their party needs. There is a private form on their menu designed to explain and inform the restaurant of each customers’ private party needs.

Entertainment
On Wednesdays, Metro hosts karaoke night, which always draws in very large crowds. On Friday and Saturday nights, local bands of varying genres (reggae, rock ‘n’ roll, dance etc) come to perform. At Metro, there is also a dance floor that is separate from the seating area. Also available is a pool table towards a room in the back of the lounge.

Crowd
Metro has a 21 and over rule, as well as a dress code. The types of people one is most likely to find at metro are local area professionals and graduate students. Overall, the crowd at metro is considered to be “older” and “more sophisticated.” However, all  people are welcome to Metro, as long as they are 21 or above.

Specials
There are specials every night at Metro. Mondays and Tuesdays the bar offers half-priced Sushi to its customers. On Wednesday nights where there’s karaoke. Also on Wednesday nights at Metro there are drink specials; $2 Blue Light and Absolute vodka for $3. Recently, the lounge has also started trivia nights every Thursday, where it will give away prizes and offer Coors and/or Coors Light for $2 and Bacardi for $3.

Overview
The Ice Museum at DestinyUSA is a facility that displays a variety of ice sculptures that will leave you in awe with their elegance, detail and beauty. The ice sculptures were created by Stan Koloco of Auburn, NY. Koloco is an expert in ice sculpting, as he is the owner of The Ice Farm and has won a variety of awards for his craft.

The Ice Museum at Destiny USA not only provide patrons with the unique spectacle of ice, but also gives them an experience of lights and sound. In fact, The Ice Museum is so unique that there is only one other of its kind in the United States, located all the way in Aurora, Alaska.

In addition to the sight and sound experience, The Ice Museum also has an all-ice bar. This all-ice bar has a variety of drinks and cocktails, some that are even served in an all-ice cup! So visit the Ice Museum in DestinyUSA, for a unique experience and a chance to relax!

Wise Guys Comedy Club

General Information
The club has been around since 1985 and is considered to be one of the premier comedy club in the area of Syracuse. It has featured nationally known stars such as Andrew Dice Clay, Ray Romano, Kevin James and The Unknown Comic. Comedians have also been known to drop in and attend a show, often giving them positive reviews.


Showroom
The showroom where the entertainment takes place is on the club’s lower level, where as dining is located on the upper level. The showroom seats 110 guests on a first-come first-served basis in order to create a more intimate and personable atmosphere amongst the audience. Seating is done about 15 minutes before show time and Wise Guys Comedy Club claims that “there is no bad seat in the house.” There is tableside cocktail service available at ever sow and no drink minimums are required.

Dining
What many find convenient about Wise Guys Comedy Club is the fact that when going seeing a show, one can go to dinner before or after all within the same place. Lunch is offered starting at 11am, running until 2pm. The lunch menu features salads, sandwiches, and wraps as well as all available drinks on the menu. The pub are is open from the end of lunch until the club closes, featuring a similar menu to the lunch menu, with a few differences including pizza and a different selection of sandwiches. The dinner menu, which is only available Wednesday through Saturday, features entrees such as steaks, chicken, and seafood on top of what was is offered at the pub.

Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by Mitch Kutash and Gerald Kubach where it started serving delicious dinners and laughter. Over 30 years later, Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant has expanded over 25 markets in clubs all over the country. Renowned comedians including Jerry Seinfeld, Rosanne Barr, Tim Allen, Drew Carey, Jim Breuer, Kathleen Madigan, John Pinette, DL Hughley, Gabriel Iglesias, Josh Blue, Ellen Degeneres and Dave Chappelle have made appearances at these clubs along with other developing humorists.

Aja

Overview
Aja (pronounced “asia”) is a premiere nightclub in DestinyUSA! Aja is currently based in Tampa, Fla. where it caters to upscale dining, drinks and nightlife. Its expansion in DestinyUSA is approximately 9,000-square and modeled after the scene in Tampa.

Aja’s sleek, modern and clean design will resonate with a variety of people including both young and business crowds. The nightclub will offer lunch and dinner during the day and during late night hours Aja will serve appetizers and drinks. The club will stay open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Besides cocktails and food, Aja also provides the perfect setting for relaxing, unwinding and hanging out with friends and coworkers. Throughout the club there will be community spaces and VIP lounges where guests can interact. Also, Aja will have live music performances so guests can dance the night away.

Overview
5 wits is a hands on adventure that will fully immerse the explorer into a different world where he/she will have to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles and discover new things. Though the adventures are not physically demanding nor frightening, the experiences do force the explorer to put their 5 wits (imagination, estimation, fantasy, common sense and memory) to the test. DestinyUSA offers both of the 5 Wits adventures: Espionage and 20,000 Leagues.

Espionage is a journey where the fate of the world rests in the explorers’ hands. Explorers are put head to head with the CABAL Corporation by breaking into their headquarters and destroying leaked information that could threaten the freedom of mankind! In this journey, explorers must solve puzzles and overcome challenges by decoding safes, defusing bombs and overcoming physical obstacles. The experience will seem real with the special effects.

20,000 Leagues takes explorers under the sea and into Captain Nemo’s Nautilus, a lost Victorian submarine. While under the sea, explorers try to uncover the mystery about what happened to Captain Nemo and the Nautilus. To figure this out, explorers fix ancient submarine engines, attempt to complete Nemo’s last experiment and take on sea creature from down under!
